Eastcolight Design Team's Innovative Telescope Revolutionizes Astronomical Observation

The Galaxy Tracker Nova is not your typical telescope. Its design inspiration came from the need for a user-friendly telescope that could be used by both professionals and beginners. The Eastcolight Design Team realized that most professional telescopes were complex and difficult to operate without a map. To address this, they integrated the Starwalk 2 app into the telescope, creating a device that is as informative as it is functional.

What sets the Galaxy Tracker Nova apart from other telescopes is its unique properties. It provides a high-quality stargazing experience that can be tailored to the user's level of expertise. With the Starwalk 2 app, users can easily navigate the night sky and even take pictures or videos through the telescope's lens. The telescope comes with three types of eye-pieces for different viewing circumstances and a tripod that accommodates both left and right-handed users. The iPhone adaptor is simple to operate, thanks to its magnetic mechanism.

The Galaxy Tracker Nova is manufactured in a non-polluted environment to ensure that no dust affects the viewing quality. It features an Achromatic Multi-Coated lens and a 700mm focal length. The telescope also comes with a Red Green Dot finderscope and an Alt-azimuth Mount Aluminum Tripod with Quick Release. The included Star Walk 2 app is a winner of the Apple Design Award.

The telescope is easy to operate. Once assembled, users place their iPhone on the adaptor, which is attached to the telescope body. They can then tilt the telescope towards their target constellation according to the star map in the Starwalk app. The iPhone adaptor can also be attached to the viewing eye-pieces for photo or video taking, allowing users to share their observations with others.

The Galaxy Tracker Nova project began in May 2016 and was introduced to the market in May 2018. The design process was not without its challenges. The Eastcolight Design Team had to ensure that the tripod was strong and steady enough to prevent shaking during use. They also had to design a user-friendly and reliable iPhone adaptor. Despite these challenges, the team's efforts paid off. The Galaxy Tracker Nova was awarded the Golden A' Toys, Games, and Hobby Products Design Award in 2018, a testament to its innovative design and functionality.
